Jekyll Island’s Summer Waves Water Park opens May 9th for a Summer of cool fun and rockin’ music. In addition to thrilling water slides, splashing attractions, and relaxing ways to stay cool, this season, Summer Waves Water Park is offering guests a variety of rockin’ in-park activities.
To kick-off the season, Summer Waves Water Park and Radio Disney present an afternoon of Jonus Brothers karaoke from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on May 9. Guests will have the opportunity to show off their talent and sing their heart out to their favorite Jonus Brothers songs. As an added bonus, Radio Disney will take entries to win two tickets to the Jonus Brothers concert in Tampa, FL on August 18. Entries are accepted May 9 through May 31 at Summer Waves Water Park with the winner announced on June 1st.
Throughout the summer, guests also can take a break from their swimming and splashing to compete in other karaoke contests as well as Wii © Rock Band competitions. The first Rock Band competition will take place from 4:00-6:00 PM on opening day. Following competitions will take place every weekend and great prizes are available for winners.
“We want to make sure that everyone has a great experience at Summer Waves,” said Steve Sharpe, General Manager of Summer Waves Water Park. “Our karaoke and Rock Band competitions have always been crowd favorites, and this year we wanted to respond to our guests’ suggestions and have more contests, more often.”
